POCKET FULL OF PAINT
Cleaning paint off palettes is not only a waste of time, money and energy, it is also a waste of creativity. Paint isnt useless once it's dried up. It simply becomes full of new possibilities. I would leave the paint to dry and then peel it off the next time I used my palette. Today my bag full of paint eventually filled up. I decided to make a new bag full of paint. A bigger one that is..
Materials- Acrylic Paint, Plain black backpack

TOILET BOWL BRAIN
I discovered the average person spends roughly 1.5 years on the toilet in their lifetime. This seriously bothered me considering that is a huge waste of time and brainpower. How can we maximize time on the toilet?
I have created a blog with a friend with the idea to keep brain flow when you go.

TERMINAL MEDITATION
Traveling Anxiety is real. I find myself checking the clock every minute on the ride to the airport, only to realize it's been the same damn minute forever. Cringing at every bit of traffic. Checking I have all my belongings (half of which I won’t even need). Making sure my flights on time, reading every sign above me, lugging around heavy bags, praying my suitcase is really not overweight and my scale at home was not lying, moving through the rush of a million people, PAUSE.
What more necessary time is there to freeze, drop where you are, and meditate? Flying is a time where my stress can peak. Meditating in the middle of the airport slows time down.
Check in yourself, not just your belongings.

SPILLED WATER SERIES
I never accepted how clutzy I was until I spilled water on the floor five times in one day. That's what happens when you sleep for two hours the night before. I took a picture of the first spilled water bit because I thought it resembled a skull. Each time I spilled water on the floor, before I wiped it up I realized it was a form of disappearing art. The water organically spilled on its own created these beautiful structures that reflected light differently on each ground and setting.

AMSTERDAM IS FALLING DOWN
After spending a few hours in Amsterdam I noticed that half the buildings were on a slant, as if they were tipping over. This trend continued onto the street signs, lamp posts and doors. Does no one there realize their city is falling down?
Maybe all the locals are too high to notice?

AMSTERDAM: A CITY THAT SMILES
Why is it that in NYC most people walk around with resting bitch face all day?
Or creep you right behind you when you are waiting on line to get on a train, buy something from a store or even walk out of an elevator?
Space does not exist because if you're strolling through your daily life. Someone will tailgate you. My recent visit to Amsterdam made me realize how ridiculous this was when I experienced a city of people who walked slowly, smiled at every stranger on the street and left a nice distance when waiting on bus lines.

FACE PAINT
When you forget your brushes elsewhere, don't be shy to the idea that your face, filled with pores, hair follicles and noses, can be an efficient brush. The paint has a nice way of exfoliating when brushed against bumpy canvas, if you're into that.
Also why spend hours trying to paint a face when you can slap yours on a canvas?
Materials: black and white acrylic paint, canvas paper, skin

WITHDRAWALS
I experienced this scene when walking into TD bank to take out cash from the ATM.
I found nothing more daunting then a homeless person sitting by the ATM machines. Her cry for help now struck me. She was an artist herself without even realizing it. She forced me to face such uncomfortable thoughts.

1000 PENNIES
My budget day to day is 10$.
That doesn't seem like much until I actually visualized how much space ten bucks can create.
Pennies don't seem to have much worth right now, but one day I feel pennies will go extinct and this piece will be worth millions. My kids will probably wonder why there are these copper circles on the wall. Ill have to explain to them a time before money existed on plastic cards.
Materials- 1000 pennies, Black acrylic paint, Canvas paper, glue

CHEAP DATE
Inspired by a photo I took in Amsterdam. And my new interest in coin art.
What could ten dollars in coins create?
Could they light up the night?
To create this painting I limited myself to four materials- Dimes, Nickles, Black acrylic paint, canvas paper

DISAPPEARING PAINTING
Along with my fascination in coins, I also have a fascination with glue. Specifically the glue that "dries clear".
I am artist and a magician.
I make paintings disappear.
Materials- Glue, Black acrylic paint, canvas paper

PHUCK PHOTOSHOP
As hard as I try to explore the many realms of photoshop, I fail almost every time. In my attempt to create a timeline video of Day 14, frustrations got the best of me and I gave up. Instead I warped my images with my initials to exemplify how my brain feels when I try to create art on computers.

RELATIONSHIPS
Alcohol and Coffee must coexist.
Together they form a strong bond.
They are there for each other in rough times.
With that being said, the amount of alcohol my brother drinks and the amount of Nespresso capsules I go through, we make great apartment mates.
Materials- Nespresso coffee capsules, beer bottle caps, variation of scotch bottles, glue
